We are proud to announce our special guests for 2011:
Kevin Locke
Ceylan Isgor
Barbara Spangler

Kevin Locke will be teaching the adult classes and will be giving a special presentation of his famous Hoop Dance.
Ceylan Isgor will be giving a presentation on her perspective growing up as a Muslim in Turkey and becoming a Baha'i.
Barabara Spangler will be teaching an art and spirituality class using watercolor and clay.


Kevin Locke (Tokeya Inajin is his Lakota name, meaning "The First to Arise") is known thoughout the world as a visionary Hoop Dancer,  the preeminent player of the indigenous Northern Plains flute, a traditional storytelling, cultural ambassador, recording artist and educator.  http://www.kevinlocke.com

Ceylan Isgor is Kevin's Wife, Friend, Mother, Lover of Life, and Associate Professor in Neuroscience of Addiction.

Barbara Spangler is a Methodist minister visiting from Nebraska.

The John H. Willcott Bahá'í School is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to providing a summer school experience for the whole family.

The school is in an outdoor setting with beautiful scenery and al lot of outdoor activities available. Cabins with beds are available for everybody and most cabins have their own bathroom and shower. There is also space for tents, teepees and limited RV spaces.  Please see the above website for additional information on the facilities.

The theme for this year is "Finding your Path of Service".  We will be offering adult, youth, jr. youth, and children's classes.  We will also be offering new this year, an "Arts and Spirituality" class.  Recreational activities include hiking, softball, basketball, horse shoes, volleyball, and a ropes course.
